The Cisco SSL VPN supports on working on full-tunnel mode. In full-tunnel mode, an SSL tunnel is used to move data to and from the internal networks at the network (IP) layer. When the user logs into the SSLVPN gateway, the SSL VPN client (SVC) is automatically downloaded and installed at the end user’s PC, and the tunnel connection is established. Once the connection is established, the user has full VPN access to the corporate network.1. Preparing for Cisco Web VPN. (the same as part 1)

CCIE Security Home Lab with dynamipsIntroduction
The goal I wanted to have a lab environment where I can prepare myself forthe CCIE Security lab exam. Dont get me wrong, rack rentals areprobably the best and cost efficient way to play with real gear(besides owning the complete equipment). On the other hand, it can bequite frustrating trying to align your schedule with free rental timeslots, so if you have some spare time (you should study right now, shouldnt you?
) and dont fear a shell prompt, lets get started.
The final layout is very close to the topology that Internetworkexpert uses in their excellent workbooks.
Description With the help of dynamips, dynagen and pemu, Cisco routers -including switch modules – and pix devices can be emulated on a singlePC. Recently I wrote a howto of how to run the Cisco IPS software inVMware, so except for ASA firewalls, VPN concentrators and somesecurity features on the catalyst switches, everything the current CCIElab blueprint lists can be emulated on a PC.
In my environment, I have one external Cat3750, one ASA 5505and a VPN 3005 concentrator. If you dont have these devices, you stillcan master a lot of the blueprint topics and rent a rack to makeyourself familiar with the VPN concentrator and some of the features aPIX does not offfer (WebVPN).

K guys first I would like to thank you on the feedback it is much appreciated that some one takes the time to respond to you on your time and effort.
So I would like to add another .net topology that is smaller but very useful for IP Services practice like Proxy Arp, NAT, HSRP and all the things you want to test that do not require a full lab of 13 routers.
the lab was prepared from the IEWBv4 IPServices book under Advanced Technologies also to people that do not have this Work Book it can be very handy as it is not very hard to figure the structure of the lab.
And work you way trough all kind of scenarios. So

I’m glad to introduce you a sample lab used by Jeremy Cioara for CBT CCIE practice lab.
You’ll find the .net file in attachment.
There is no initial config files.
Here’s the topology ( don’t take care of IP addressing ) :

By Himawan NugrohoSeveral months ago I wrote ‘How to Become a CCIE’, a step-by-step for wanna-be-CCIE out there based on my own experience passing two lab exams. In point no. 3 I mentioned that it’s compulsory to have a home lab to be able to practice anytime.
How if we can save some money by not buying the equipment but using simulator instead? Thanks to Christophe Fillot. the author of Dynamips – Cisco 7200 Simulator, now it’s possible to have a full CCIE lab in our PC.
The idea of this simulator is to emulate Cisco 7200 environment with MIPS processor in normal PC, so we can boot the genuine IOS for Cisco 7200 with 12.2 and 12.4 version. It can simulate various type of network modules such as PA-4T or PA-TE-FX to provide enough serial and ethernet interfaces. The simulator offers virtual ATM, FR and ethernet switch too. If we can simulate 8-9 routers, with ATM, FR and ethernet switch, and put proper interconnection between those routers..voila! we have a complete CCIE lab!
Actually this simulator has been around for quite some time. But when the first time I used this simulator, I faced so many minor issues that almost made me stop thinking about the idea to simulate CCIE lab. Before I found Dynagen, the front end interface for Dynamips, I had to map the port manually between interface in one router to another interface in another router to provide interconnectivity between them. That’s because each interface in this virtual router consumes 1 UDP port. So if we want to connect one router to another router with serial connection, we need to map udp port that represents the serial interface in the first router, to the udp port that represents the serial interface in the second router.
